What is a web shop

A web shop is an online store where goods or services are sold.

On a web shop customers can therefore see a store’s products without being in a physical store. They can see your products through either pictures or video. Therefore, it is not the same experience your customers have, they can’t touch the product, try it out or assess it in the same way they could in a physical store. On the other hand, the customer can sit at home on the couch with their cellphone, computer or tablet and surf around all your products.

If you want to open a web shop you can either buy a finished web shop solution or build one up from scratch yourself, this does require some serious know-how though.
