Entrepreneur
What is an entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur is a term for a person that has formed a business. There are multiple terms for this type of person, for example entrepreneur, independent, or entrepreneur.
The only requirement there is to use these titles is to be a business owner. There are not any other specific requirements to get a title. Therefore, it is up to the individual business owner which title they want to claim as their own.
As an entrepreneur it is you that is in control, it is your business and thereby you who is in charge. It also means that it is you alone, if you are the sole owner in the business, that has to make the hard decisions. You control your own time, your work effort, what work you want to do and where in the world you want to do it.
There are of course also prejudices surrounding being an entrepreneur, but nothing that the benefits don’t outweigh. You can read about the benefits and the prejudices surrounding being an entrepreneur here.
Do you want to be an entrepreneur?
It doesn’t require much to become an entrepreneur. What it requires the most is that you are passionate. You decide yourself which field you want to start a business in, so you can do whatever you want to do. This could for example be financing, product, and target audience.
When the passion is there, then there are a lot of considerations to be had. Read about some of the things you should consider here.
