Bill
What is a bill?
A bill is also called an invoice, it is a charge for money that is sent to customers. If the customer buys a good, then the customer receives a bill where it states the amount the customer needs to pay as well as how to pay it. A bill must be kept for 5 years and is therefore made in two copies, so there is one for the customer and one for the business.
There are presently some requirements that a bill must contain:
- Information about the seller
- Information about the buyer
- Sequential invoice numbers
- Invoice date
- The goods or service’s nature, price, and quantity
- The basis for VAT and the VAT amount
- The total amount
