Microsoft Teams

What is Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is a place where you can collaborate with your colleagues, partners, or others.
In Microsoft Teams it is possible to make calls, video calls, chat, share documents and manage assignments. It is possible to share your screen with the other participants, so you can for example show a PowerPoint from your screen. You can also get another participant to take control over another screen, this way they can for example correct the PowerPoint shown on the screen directly themselves.
In addition, the meeting can also be recorded, so it can be shown again and people who did not participate can see it afterwards.
The program can be used through their app or from your browser.
The program is a part of Microsoft 365, which means it is all in the cloud and can therefore be accessed by any computer or phone with an internet connection.
Microsoft Teams is free to use, and you can hold group calls for up to 60 minutes with up to 100 participants. Besides the free version, subscriptions that contain several benefits can be purchased.
Microsoft Teams became very popular during the coronavirus pandemic, as many workers were sent home, but still had to communicate with each other and have meetings.
