What is CAC?
Customer Acquisition Cost or CAC as it is typically abbreviated to. CAC is often used in connection with marketing and new marketing initiatives.
CAC is the price it costs your company to get a new customer. CAC can show which marketing methods provide the newest customers, and on the basis of which costs.
CAC is very simple to figure out, you take the amount the company has spent on the marketing efforts / (dividing) by the number of new customers = CAC.
CAC shows you the amount the company needs to spend on marketing to get a new customer.
